Our Academic Care model enhances student learning, wellbeing and resilience through pedagogies aligned to student needs, supported through relationships of mutual respect and embedded in effective learning experiences. Academic Care aims to deliver Quality Teaching and Learning outcomes in an environment where right relationships are established and a focus on student wellbeing is essential.
Each student’s individual needs are respected and addressed, not only in her academic curriculum, but also through care and support provided by her Pastoral Teacher, Class Teachers and Year Coordinator. The Academic Care team of the College operates under the direction of the Assistant Principals and includes the Middle School and Senior School Coordinators. In addition, students and their families can access additional support through the services of a full time College Counsellor.
Your first contact at the College with regard to any concerns you or your daughter may have is your daughter’s Pastoral Teacher. If your concern is of a more serious nature, the Year Coordinator, Subject Coordinator (for subject related issues), Assistant Principal Students or Assistant Principal Curriculum should be contacted.
