Learning Enrichment

Our gifted education programs are led by experienced teachers with specialist qualifications, and are designed to challenge and inspire academically advanced students.

Girls may be extended within the classroom or through targeted enrichment programs with specialist staff.

Beyond the classroom, students can explore their passions and stretch their thinking through activities such as the Ethics Olympiad, Debating, Mock Trial and Mock Mediation. Many students also take on leadership and mentoring roles, supporting younger peers through initiatives like the Afternoon Study Assistance Program.

Accelerated Courses

St Patrick’s College offers acceleration pathways for students who demonstrate advanced ability and a strong interest in specific subject areas. These programs allow students to begin studying selected Stage 6 (Years 11–12) courses earlier than their age peers, providing greater academic challenge and the opportunity to deepen their learning. Acceleration is carefully considered in consultation with students, families and teachers to ensure each girl is supported to thrive both academically and personally.
