Academic Performance

St Patrick’s College is proud of the diverse range of talents and abilities of our students.

Our girls are encouraged to pursue their interests, try new things and, in their senior years, select learning pathways that best suit their aspirations, whether that includes an ATAR HSC, non-ATAR HSC or accredited vocational qualifications.

Academic success is something we celebrate at St Patrick’s, but it’s only part of the story. Our greatest pride comes from seeing our alumni thrive in life beyond school, using their skills, confidence and compassion to lead fulfilling lives and make a positive impact on the world.

Academic performance for 2025

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 and their outstanding HSC results.

Of the 110 students who undertook the HSC, 33 students were named Distinguished Achievers, recording one or more of the 57 Band 6 and/or E4 results, reflecting achievement between 90–100% in their subjects. This includes five accelerated Year 11 Studies of Religion students, an exceptional effort.

The College also celebrates eight students achieving an ATAR above 90, with Holly Burfitt earning the College’s top ATAR of 98.8. Holly was also ranked 20th in the state for PDHPE and recognised as a Premier’s All Rounder, achieving a Band 6/E4 in at least 10 units.

Notably, one in three girls achieved an ATAR over 80 — an extraordinary result for a non-selective college.

As a result of these achievements, St Patrick’s College has improved its overall ranking by more than 30 places, moving from 215 in 2024 to 177 in 2025.
