Academic Care Framework

At St Patrick’s College, our learning approach is intentionally designed for girls and informed by contemporary research into how girls learn best.

Through our Academic Care Framework, we integrate learning and wellbeing in a way that ensures each student is known, challenged and supported. This model fosters high expectations, strong relationships and a culture where girls are empowered to take ownership of their learning and growth.

Students can explore new interests and develop their strengths through a wide range of subject offerings that encourage critical thinking and build future-ready skills. Our curriculum is designed to cater for all learners and is known for being both engaging and academically rigorous.

Partnerships with industry, universities and accredited training organisations enrich the learning experience by offering hands-on opportunities and real-world applications. Senior students have the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications alongside their Higher School Certificate, preparing them to follow diverse and rewarding pathways beyond school. We currently host the VET Allied Health Course, run by the University of New England on College grounds. This course is attended by a number of our girls and students from surrounding schools, providing access to a contemporary learning environment and preparing students for a career in the health field.

Academic Care Framework

Our Academic Care Framework guides the delivery of quality teaching and learning at the College. It recognises the deep connection between wellbeing, personal growth and academic success, and demonstrates our approach to educating the whole person.
