A School of Welcome
A Good Samaritan School of Welcome
When our hearts are authentically open to universal communion, this sense of fraternity excludes nothing and no one.
Pope Francis (Laudato Si 92)
Our commitment to inclusion and compassion
As part of the Good Samaritan Education community, St Patrick’s College for Girls is deeply grounded in a faith tradition that honours the dignity of all creation. Inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, the Rule of Benedict and the legacy of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, we are called to live with compassion, courage and radical inclusivity.
We strive to be a community where every person is welcomed and valued, regardless of culture, ability, gender, sexuality or background. This commitment is not just a belief, but a way of being: listening deeply, responding to need, and standing in solidarity with those who are vulnerable or marginalised.
We seek to create an environment where each girl is supported to grow, to be of service to others and to recognise Christ in everyone she meets. This is the heart of who we are: a school shaped by care, justice and a deep reverence for the humanity of all.
