Student Leadership

Leadership at St Patrick’s College is not reserved for a select few, it is a journey every girl is empowered to embark upon.

From Year 7 onwards, students are offered authentic opportunities to lead, whether through formal roles, peer mentoring or by demonstrating initiative and integrity in everyday situations.

Our leadership programs cultivate confidence, responsibility and a deep commitment to service. Girls can pursue leadership positions across a broad spectrum of opportunities, including Year Group representatives on the Student Representative Council, Peer Support Leaders, Club leaders, Year 11 ‘Big Sisters’ mentoring Year 7 students, Senior School College Captains, and ambassadors for faith, culture, academics, sport or the environment.

Through these roles, students learn how they can use their skills in service to others and grow in confidence and character as they navigate the rewards and responsibilities that come with positions of trust and influence.
The communication, diplomacy and problem-solving skills they develop form the groundwork for the roles they will take on as changemakers beyond the school gates.
