Our Mission

Our Catholic faith and Benedictine values underpin everything we do.

Liturgical Life

We mark significant moments in the school year with whole school Masses, including the beginning and end of the academic year, feast days and times of remembrance. Students also take part in daily prayer, Year level liturgies and Sacraments that reflect the Church calendar.

Our students play an active role in shaping each Mass and liturgy. They prepare and lead the music, altar serve and proclaim readings and prayers. This active involvement makes every celebration a meaningful and deeply spiritual experience that connects with our student body and makes faith relevant, alive and shared.

Social Justice

Students engage in a range of activities that raise awareness, promote advocacy and offer practical support to those experiencing poverty, injustice or exclusion. Through fundraising, outreach and education, we build partnerships with local, national and international communities, including Good Samaritan ministries in places such as Santa Teresa, the Philippines and Kiribati.

Each year group supports a dedicated charity or ministry from the Good Samaritan Foundation, fostering a sense of connection and shared responsibility. Our whole school initiatives include annual appeals for Caritas Australia and St Vincent de Paul.
Through these experiences, students come to understand that justice is not only about charity but about walking alongside others with empathy. Our students are women of hope, called to be neighbours who make a difference in the world and bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to others.

Immersion

Our Immersion experiences invite students to build relationships across cultures and develop a deeper understanding of the lives, strengths and challenges of others.

Students in Years 11 have the opportunity to take part in an Immersion program that takes place in the Philippines. This program is more than a travel opportunity, it is an encounter that fosters empathy, challenges assumptions and inspires students to see themselves as part of a global community.

As Pope Leo XIV reminds us, “Before being a religious matter, compassion is a question of humanity! Before being believers, we are called to be human.” Our Immersion experiences give life to this truth and encourage students to live out our mission of compassion and social justice.

Retreats and Reflection Days

All students experience carefully designed Retreats and Reflection Days, relevant to their age and stage. The opportunities provide space to explore faith, identity, relationships and purpose.

Students in Years 7 to 9 take part in Reflection Days that focus on personal growth, spirituality and community. In Years 10, 11 and 12, students participate in offsite residential Retreats that offer deeper opportunities for prayer, reconciliation and shared reflection.

These moments away from the usual routines of school life allow students to grow in their relationship with God, connect with their peers and live more fully in our mission of faith and character formation.
