Leadership and Merit System

The College provides many opportunities for students to participate in leadership roles.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is made up of one student from each Homeroom. Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by their peers. Successful nominees make a public commitment to the College community.

As leaders of the Middle School, the Year 9 Pastoral leaders have positions of responsibility framed around the Benedictine values of Community, Humility, Stewardship, Stability, Hospitality and Pax (Peace). Their role is to lead the Middle School in initiatives to foster and encourage involvement in the College community.

The Merit System is part of the College’s Academic Care framework and aims to recognise and acknowledge students for any outstanding academic effort and achievement, positive attitude towards uniform, co-curricular commitment, good behaviour and general positive contribution to College life.

Further information about the Student Leadership and the SPC Merit System is available on the Wellbeing section of the College website.
